MADC Hires Marketing Director, Terri Philion

The Minot Area Development Corporation (MADC) is proud to welcome Terri Philion as the new Marketing Director of MADC. Philion’s knowledge and diverse background make her a great asset to MADC.

With over twenty years of experience in marketing, sales, fundraising, and recruiting; Philion will provide unlimited expertise to MADC. Philion previously served as the Executive Director of the American Red Cross Serving Western North Dakota. She was responsible for recruiting, engaging, developing and empowering volunteer leaders throughout Western ND. She supported fundraising efforts, cultivated and nurtured donors, enhanced community presence, managed social media, and much more. Philion also previously held a position as the Director of Sales at Visit Minot, and as the Executive Director of the Hazen Chamber of Commerce and Convention and Visitors Bureau in Hazen. The Minot State University alum double majored in Accounting and Economics, making her an excellent fit for MADC.

Along with her professional experience, Philion has a strong commitment to her community. She serves as the Chair of the Strengthen ND Board of Directors, Vice President of the Minot Optimist Club, and is a founding member of the Minot Power of 100. She is also a Junior Achievement Volunteer, Community Leadership Institute Facilitator, and an Ambassador for the Minot Area Chamber of Commerce, and a Pageant Co-Director for the Miss Minot Scholarship Organization.

Philion believes in creating a community you want to be a part of and she’s proud to raise her family in North Dakota. Not only does Philion offer knowledge and experience to MADC, but she also aligns with MADC’s vision to build and support a resilient, sustainable, and diversified economy to ensure Minot is the right location for businesses and families.  MADC is excited to have Philion join MADC’s efforts to facilitate business attraction, expansion, retention, and advocacy to diversify and strengthen the Minot area.
